These successes, very different, give ideas, and very recently, producer Eiji Aonuma has confessed that he would love to see a film adaptation of The Legend of Zeldaespecially after seeing Super Mario Bros. The film, loved by fans and which especially brought in more than a billion dollars in box office receipts. In an interview with polygonEiji Aonuma explains thathe would be “interested” in such an adaptation project, but that is not enough to launch the production machineOf course.
It’s a safe bet that nintendo did not wait for these words from the producer of the franchise to think of such a project, moreover, a series The Legend of Zelda in live-action could have seen him play on netflixbut one leaked screwed it all up. I have to say that the license would lend itself very well to a film adaptationwith a hero (Link) facing a villain (Ganon) to save the princess (Zelda) in a fantasy world (Hyrule).
