In a month will finally come out Top Gun: Maverick, sequel to Tony Scott’s cult film released in 1986. This time, it will be Joseph Kosinski behind the camera, with Tom Cruise still in the lead role. The actor is also a producer, and as he tells in a short making of, he wanted an authentic and realistic film :
Tom Cruise and the rest of the cast therefore underwent real pilot training, allowing them to board planes for filming. A unique and intense experience to say the least, starting with small planes before boarding the F-18 Super Hornets present in the film. The actors also had to become directors to manipulate the cameras in the cockpit.
