Even in winter we don’t have to go without our beloved Lillet. We’ll show you a wonderfully Christmassy and deliciously warm cinnamon Lillet cocktail with apple and maple syrup.

He accompanied us through the summer and gave us beautiful moments. We’re talking about the popular one Aperitif Wildberry Lillet. Now that it’s getting colder and snowier, most people aren’t really in the mood for ice-cold drinks; instead, everyone is clamoring for them warm winter cocktails, which warm us up from the inside instead of mulled wine and hot chocolate. So it’s time for the Wildberry Lillet to get a winter upgrade!

We mix a warm drink Lillet Blanc and apple juice and refine it with you Christmas cinnamon and anise notes. Sweet maple syrup and a Squeeze of lemon round off the winter cocktail perfectly.

Warm cinnamon Lillet with apple: This is how it works

Ingredients for 2 glasses

  • 200 ml apple juice
  • 4 cl lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 star anise
  • 100ml Lillet Blanc
  • 4 organic orange slices
  • 4 apple carvers

preparation

  1. Heat apple juice with lemon juice, maple syrup, cinnamon and star anise in a pot until it is sipping hot and let it steep for about 10 minutes.
  2. Then pour in the Lillet and mix everything well. Wash the orange and apple and cut them into slices or small pieces. Garnish two glasses each with 2 orange and apple slices and divide the warm cinnamon Lillet cocktail between the glasses. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and star anise if desired and enjoy straight away.

The drink is also suitable as Warm winter punch for Christmas or cozy evenings with friends. Simply place a large pot on the stove, add all the ingredients except the Lillet and heat it as directed. Then turn the stove down to the lowest setting and prepare glasses, a bar measure measuring cup and Lillet. Each guest can fill their glass with a shot (around 4 cl) and top it with warm punch. By the way, you have one right away alcohol-free alternative on offer if the Lillet simply left out becomes.
