“Congestion is expected more particularly on the A10 and A11 motorways in the western zone of the country, A7 and A43 in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region and on the Mediterranean Arc, in particular on the A9, A61 and A62 motorways”, specifies the forecaster. road.

Heavy traffic from 10 a.m.

In detail, traffic is heavy from 10 a.m. on the axis between Narbonne and Orange (A9), to become difficult (high risk of traffic jams) between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. On the A7, between Marseille and Orange, traffic looks heavy from 9 a.m. and becomes difficult from 1 p.m. After Orange, still on the A7, towards Lyon, traffic is expected to be “very difficult” between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

In the South West of France, on the A10, traffic jams will form from 10 a.m. near Bordeaux, from 11 a.m. near Poitiers and very strong slowdowns are to be expected at the western entrance from Paris, at the Saint-Arnoult tollbooth, from 2 p.m.

This Saturday, more than 800 km of traffic jams accumulated on the motorways of France were identified by Bison Futé. A figure unrelated to the traditional crossover between Juillettists and Augustians: on July 31, 2021, 1,096 km had thus been recorded on the roads of France.
