It was the surprise announcement of the week: Sony said the PlayStation VR 2 would be released in February 2023 for €599.99. A price probably higher than what some were hoping for, and above all, an amazing communication that comes out of nowhere without a real conference. Anyway, several titles or ports have been announced, including an improved edition for Cities: VRthe virtual reality version of Cities Skylines.
Management in VR
Originally released on Meta Quest 2, Cities: VR is a management game designed for virtual reality. Headed by Fast Travel Games, the title offers a port on the PlayStation VR 2, with a version stamped Cities: VR – Enhanced Edition. This takes the basic content but brings visual improvements, with enhanced graphics and richer colors. Of course, the set is adapted for the functionality of Sony’s headset and optimized for the new controllers.
For the moment, no release date for Cities: VR Enhanced Edition but we are promised availability in 2023. The headset already has a date: the PlayStation VR 2 will be available on February 22, 2023.
