City of Gangsters, free game of the week on the EGS

In the 1920s, the mafia ruled the roost, and many gangs shared the cities. But sometimes, everything goes into a spin and you have to start from the bottom of the ladder to establish yourself as the boss again. In a city where bars, saloons, distilleries, breweries and liquor distributors have become illegal, only underground networks can entertain the people. As long as the police don’t notice, or their purse is full, it’s fine.

Without innovating too much in content and form, City of Gangsters is quite a fun management game. The objective is to position themselves as the city’s unavoidable mafia and create an underground network that no one can escape. For this, it will be necessary to manage its stocks, the rival gangs, but also the police forces which patrol frequently.
