In broad daylight on Wednesday, a 24-year-old Upper Austrian snatched her wallet from an 80-year-old passer-by at the Salzburg main train station. He fled, but the Lower Austrian woman’s cries for help alerted witnesses to the robbery. Immediately ran after the robber and caught him. A young man immediately ran after the perpetrator. He was able to stop him and held him. Other witnesses came to his aid until police officers arrested the robber. The brave helper quickly left the crime scene.
