The “Krone” had already reported about it three weeks ago, now it’s fixed: Liverpool FC is coming back to Austria and will test against FC Red Bull Salzburg on July 27th!
With Liverpool FC, a real giant of club football is coming to the Bulls’ Arena. Blades have already been crossed with the Premier League club in the recent past. In 2018/19 they met in the group phase of the premier class, in 2020 a test against Jürgen Klopp’s star ensemble followed. Stephan Reiter, Managing Director of Salzburg, is looking forward to the highlight: “The good contact with Liverpool FC has always been maintained after the games in the UEFA Champions League and the test match in 2020. This gives us the special opportunity to offer our fans another high-level duel with the Reds.
