(Boursier.com) — Clariane which had been in the green for five sessions, dropped 8.3% to 2.15 euros as the leading private European operator of comprehensive care facilities for dependent people will sell its subsidiary Les Essentielles to Groupe Duval. “This acquisition will enable Happy Senior, a subsidiary of Groupe Duval, to increase the number of its independent senior residences in France and meet the growing needs of an aging population by offering adapted and quality accommodation solutions,” said Duval. Founded in 2011, Les Essentielles has built a recognized brand in the sector with a network of 17 residences for 1,500 homes. No financial details were provided. With this sale, Clariane is continuing its debt reduction program.
