(AOF) – Clariane announced the sale of all of its activities in the United Kingdom to Elevation Healthcare Properties, an English investment fund specializing in real estate for retirement and healthcare establishments, managed by Elevation Advisors LLP , for a gross sale value of 207 million pounds sterling, or approximately 243 million euros. The closing of this operation will take place in the coming weeks. In 2023, the group has initiated a disposal program of around 1 billion euros in gross proceeds.
The network operated by the group in the United Kingdom includes 12 retirement homes acquired between 2020 and 2022, all of the walls of which, except for one residence, are owned. In 2023, this platform generated a turnover of around 63 million euros for an EBITDA of around 16 million euros.
The entire net proceeds from this sale will be used to repay approximately 100 million euros of the group’s outstanding debt.
