Clash Royale wraps up March with a major update, inviting an all-new Champion-type unit to the arena: the Minor Master. This guy promises very special gameplay since he has the unique ability to change lane. And the rest of his kit couldn’t be more promising.
Supercell has also concocted a wave of balances for us, which will take effect on April 4th. Many pro players were initially worried by the absence of the queen of archers in the “nerves” box, but the publisher has since released the finalized version of the patch, which is a little more reassuring.
New Champion Card: The Minor Master
The Miner Master is a brand new 4 elixir champion coming to Clash Royale!
He’s a single-target melee unit that targets ground troops and he’s also the toughest of all champions!
His special ability, Explosive getawaycosts 2 units of elixir and allows him to dig an underground tunnel to emerge at the horizontally opposite point of the terrain, leaving behind a large bomb as a parting gift.
His basic attack works like the Inferno Dragon Beam and his damage increases over time, giving him a serious advantage against high HP units and towers.
Balancing
These changes will only be effectivefrom Monday 4 April 2022.

Card Mastery
Card Mastery is a brand new feature to be unlocked at King Level 7. It allows players to show what they are capable of and obtain rewards, while offering them another mode of progression in the game.
Mastery Tasks Unlock
To unlock a map’s mastery tasks, you’ll need to start by winning 5 battles with that map in Ranked (1v1 battles), Tournaments, Fiesta Mode, Clan Wars, or Challenges.
All maps in the game have two sets of tasks to unlock. Depending on the rarity of the card, you will need to upgrade it to a certain level before unlocking a set of tasks.
The first set of tasks will cover basic activities. This can include, for example, inflicting damage on units or buildings, or spawning units with generators (buildings that spawn units, such as the Goblin Hut or the Furnace).
For the second set of tasks, you will need to use a map in specific situations or more precisely.
Mastery badges
Each completed task will earn you a new level of mastery, which will improve your mastery badge and also earn you experience points.
Each card has 10 mastery levels, which means the mastery badge can be upgraded 9 times.
