Team17 Digital And Absolutely Games launch today Classified: France ’44, their turn-based tactical strategy game which takes us back to the middle of World War II, to special forces in France fighting against the Nazis. Here is the launch trailer, with gameplay :
Classified: France ’44 follows the Jedburghs, a special unit made up of Allies and French resistance fighters, sent to the front to sabotage enemy installations. The title suggests a gameplay fairly classic tactic, but adds original mechanics, such as a morale system where each shot influences the morale of the soldiers, stealth attacks and above all 45 historical missions. On top of that, the developers are already promising updates and extensions to keep the fun going.
