Claude François accused of pedophilia: his son comes out of silence to defend him

Claude François will remain for many French people an extraordinary artist. But more than 40 years after his death, heavy charges hang over the singer. And for good reason: the artist himself confided in his attraction for young girls. “I know that I correspond to a category of girls of a certain age. It represents this kind of passion, of madness that there is between 14 and 18 years. And then I’m obsessed with the category of girls who come to see me. […] They tell me ‘good you like green fruits, you like little girls as soon as they are 15 to 18, after 18 they are old women, we don’t talk about it anymore’. So I say it’s a little like that and in fact it’s the opposite. I’m obsessed with teenage girls. […] I love them until I’m 17/18 and after that I start to be suspicious, because they start to think, they are no longer natural”he explained.

Interviewed on the set of TPMP People by Matthieu Delormeau, on Saturday March 11, 2023, his son, Claude François Jr. reacted to the various accusations of pedophilia against his father. For him, all this is false. Indeed, he denounced a relentlessness “scandalous”. “It’s been apparent for years now Matthieu in reality. I find it scandalous. Firstly because he is no longer there to defend himself, and then because the law does not allow me to be able to do defamation proceedings, and therefore everyone can say, tell, slander, peddle, with impunity, and that is exactly what is happening”.

Claude François Jr. defends his father

Claude François Jr. continues: “My father is associated with pedophilia, so it amounts to putting him in the same bag as Marc Dutroux which is just scandalous. I invite you to look at the definition of the word ‘pedophilia’. […] I know who my father was and it’s shameful to still have those adjectives associated with his name.” he explained.
