Home remedies for washing machine cleaning

- Citric acid: Citric acid is a natural washing machine cleaner and helps against limescale (by the way, it can also be used to descale kettles). The powder is available in every drugstore. Put five to eight tablespoons of it in the drum and select a washing program at 95 degrees – without laundry. The so-called Whites is necessary to remove all bacteria. By the way, the lemon provides a fresh scent for the next wash cycles.

- Baking soda and vinegar: Simply put 50 grams of baking soda in the detergent compartment and 50 milliliters of vinegar in the softener compartment and let it flow through at 60 degrees.
