A function called “Clear Calling” which promises to filter out background noise during your voice calls.
Clear Calling is coming to Pixel 7
It is via the latest beta version of Android 13 that it is possible to test a new feature intended for the Pixel 7. The function called “Clear Calling” is based on noise cancellation technology similar to that of the Pixel Buds Pro.
Thus, during a voice call, Clear Calling will take care of reducing background noise as much as possible thanks to an automated algorithm designed using machine learning. The goal is to allow the Pixel 7 user to filter out extraneous noise, for as clear a voice as possible, on either side.
Google is responsible for specifying that the effectiveness of Clear Calling will depend on the quality of the connection, and that the company does not collect any call content. A practical feature therefore for all those who have to make calls from noisy environments, and whose effectiveness we can’t wait to test.
Since the Google I/O conference last May, the date of their first stealthy appearances, the new Pixels have been flirting a bit with burlesque. Between the summer rumors, a prototype sold by mistake and numerous leaks, they have been talked about a lot. After an official launch in early October, we were able to collect these two smartphones to test them in depth. We start today with the eldest of the siblings, the 7 Pro.
