The LFI deputy, Clémentine Autain, on Monday asked for more “pluralism” and “territorial anchoring” from La France insoumise, whose “gaseous” operation is fishing, according to her, “in intermediate elections and in periods outside the election”. The elected representative of Seine-Saint-Denis has several times in recent years criticized the functioning of the movement, dominated by the charismatic figure of Jean-Luc Mélenchon – who was twice her candidate for the election. presidential election after having been for the Left Front in 2012.

Clémentine Autain observes that “the operation adopted has proved to be particularly efficient during the presidential campaign, with its impact on the legislative elections. The results are less positive in the intermediate elections and in the non-election periods”. She deplores the permanence of a “small core of leaders” which goes against the “diversity” and the “plurality” that she wishes. The MP advocates “the combination of consensus and pluralism”, with votes in the event of a blockage.

Ms. Autain also proposes that the “action groups”, which bring together rebellious activists locally, be better coordinated among themselves: “It is necessary that LFI also exists on this scale, that of a city, an agglomeration, a country, a department or even a region”.

Finally, Clémentine Autain hopes that the New Popular Ecological and Social Union (Nupes), the coalition for the LFI legislative elections with the Socialist Party, EELV, the PCF and Generations, will be “sustainable”.
