Instead of revealing the true illness from which she suffers, Clémentine Célarié explains having “a large polyp“ : “I have to have surgery, they removed the big polyp. Well, I didn’t even know what a big polyp was… Because we’re going to the hospital, I have to stop playing, so this on the other hand is the worst of all!“, she recalled. “Do they believe you when you talk about that?“, Audrey Crespo-Mara asked the actress. “Yes yes, they believe me. They believed me, they are nice. And then, they trust me. Through a moving work entitled Forbidden Words and published in 2021 by Albin Michel editions, Clémentine Célarié wished break the taboo surrounding cancer. Guest of Seven to eight this Sunday, January 7, the 66-year-old actress is returned to his fight against illness. “Chemo really makes you feel like you’re dying, it’s really weird“, she confided in the preamble. “I’m all alone, I’m in my bed, because here I’m talking about chemo. For me, the fight was during chemo. I don’t want to go into the world at all, I want to create a world for myself.”explained the person concerned, before adding moved to tears : “I think it’s connected to the childhood that is still in me. I’m not crying, I’m moved (…) because I think it’s the strength we have, the love we received when we were little that gives us strength when we are sick“, detailed Clémentine Célarié in front of Audrey Crespo-Mara, who explains that this world that she created for herself was “his lifeline” in the face of cancer.
