- Close Enough Season 2 will be available on Netflix on April 30, 2022.
- The idea for the series came from Emmy-winning producer JG Quintel, who also voices one of the main roles.
- The original cast voices Gabrielle Walsh, Jessica DiCicco, Jason Mantzoukas and Kimiko Glenn.
Netflix is expanding its offering again in April and May. Also new today is the 2nd season of the cartoon series “Close Enough”. This shows the Singleton-Ramirez family and their high-spirited daughter Candice (Jessica DiCicco) coping with their crazy everyday life.
Couple Josh Singleton (JG Quintel) and Emily Ramirez (Gabrielle Walsh) go through some crazy situations with Candice. Lately, the 6-year-old has been invited to her classmates’ birthday parties, and her parents have to come along to look after her. Josh and Emily soon get fed up with that.
Thankfully, her best friends, influencer Bridgette (“Orange Is the New Black” actress Kimiko Glenn) and community college professor Alex Dorpenberger (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star Jason Mantzoukas), are always by her side and know how to turn even the most boring afternoon into a phat party. It remains to be seen whether they will be named Parents of the Year.
