Closing Paris: the CAC40 recovers more than 1%


THE TREND

(Boursier.com) — The CAC40 rose again to find the bar of 6,700 points, up 1.04% to 6,739 points, back on the best levels of the Paris stock market since April.

Inflation in the euro zone brought a (small) surprise with the first estimate for the month of November: The consumer price index calculated according to European standards (HICP) posted a deceleration to 10% at an annual rate after +10 .6% in October. What (perhaps) weigh in the balance of the next increase in the key rates of the ECB on December 15th. The extent of this further tightening should in fact be between 50 and 75 basis points.

Wall Street will be punctuated this evening by a new speech by Jerome Powell on the outlook for the American economy and the labor market, which is showing signs of weakening. Oil goes back to $85 per Brent. the euro is stable at 1.03/$.

RISING VALUES

Nakon rises another 9% followed by Voltalia and ofBalyo (+7%)

Renault (+3%) and Airbus (stable) have signed a research and development agreement to strengthen cross-functionalities and synergies and meet the electrification needs of the two companies, by improving their respective product range. This partnership will allow Airbus to mature the technologies associated with future hybrid-electric aircraft and will be detailed during the Airbus Summit to be held on November 30 and December 1.

Vallourec : +3% with Claranova, McPhy

TotalEnergies rises another 2.5%.

Eramet : +2.5% with Faurecia, Xilam, K&B, Bolloré

FALLING VALUES

Navya drops by 8% withrally (-6%) and Rexel

Nexans fell 6% on Wednesday, while the broker Exane BNP Paribas went back from ‘outperformance’ to ‘neutral’ by targeting a price of 90 euros in a macro environment that remains delicate.

Lagardere loses 4% withVirbac

Casino (-3%) finalized the book building process for the secondary placement of shares in its Brazilian subsidiary Assaí. As part of the placement, 140.8 million Assaí shares held by the Casino Group (including 2 million shares in the form of ADSs, each ADS consisting of 5 Assaí shares), representing 10.44% of Assaí’s capital, were allocated at a price per share representing a total amount of 490.8 million euros.

Eutelsat : -3% with Korian

Solutions 30 (-2.7%) indicates that it signed a new syndicated loan of 100 million euros on Tuesday with 7 banks. Solutions 30 specifies that this credit enables it to support the expected strong growth of its activities outside France, which have signed more than 800 million euros in new contracts since the beginning of the financial year.
