(CercleFinance.com) – CNP Assurances announces that it is joining the EcoWatt approach, a citizen initiative supported by RTE and ADEME to adopt responsible energy consumption. Through structural energy savings, CNP Assurances is committed to reducing the electricity consumption of its premises in France by 30% between 2022 and 2023.

As of this winter, the company undertakes to limit heating to 19°C in its various premises and to 16°C in its backup site, to turn off its neon sign on the Paris ring road and its premises at night, as well as to train all of its employees and their families in eco-driving through the deployment of specific online training.

Furthermore, by the end of the year, CNP Assurances plans to move its head office to Issy-Coeur de Ville in a building that meets the latest environmental standards, bringing together all the employees in the Ile-de-France region on the same site.

‘This is a major financial investment for the Group which will contribute to its structural energy saving approach’, assures CNP Assurances, specifying that ‘the building benefits from the best environmental certifications’.
