There had been speculation for a long time, but now there is finally clarity: Xabi Alonso is not taking over Real Madrid. That’s because Carlo Ancelotti has extended his contract with Los Blancos for two years. In return, the Italian coach will not join the Brazilian national team as previously assumed.
