Cobra Kai: Why is Chozen so much stronger in the Netflix series than in Karate Kid 2?

“Cobra Kai” is one of the most popular Netflix series and continues the iconic “Karate Kid” film series from the 80s. Fans are currently waiting for “Cobra Kai” season 5 and in the new episodes “Karate Kid 2” villain Chozen (Yuji Okumoto) will play a bigger role than before.

Chozen made his debut on “Cobra Kai” in Season 3 when Daniel (Ralph Macchio) travels to Japan. There, the former enemies are reconciled by pondering Miyagi-Do’s legacy together. In a short fight between the two, Chozen shows his skills and is superior to Daniel.
