Fourteen years after its last broadcast on TF1, the tele-hook has made a comeback, in the presence in particular of Jenifer, sublime in a total pink look, and this, to the delight of the most nostalgic among us, who will however be disappointed to learn that the adventure of the new students of the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys will only last six weeks, against sixteen in previous seasons, and this, because of the retransmission of the Football World Cup in Qatar. A blow for the fans, but perhaps a blessing in disguise for the candidates who, a few days after their arrival, meet already a lot of problems.
Located in the Paris region, the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys is been abandoned for a long time after the end of the star Academy, whose production only recently returned to the premises for this new season. While a lot of work has been done to make new students, among whom viewers already have their favorite, feel at home, small details seem not have been settled. In particular temperature problems in the dormitory of Julien, from Toulon, aged 20, and Cenzo, 22, from Tahiti, who had to leave their room in the middle of the night because it was “400 degrees” i.e. too hot. Cockroaches and water leaks
A restless first night for the two students, who, from 8 a.m., were expected with their classmates during sports, singing, then dancing. It was during this course that Yanis Marshall, who succeeds Kamel Ouali as a dance teacher, had the unpleasant surprise of discovering, in his classroom, water leaksas well as’a flying bug. If the artist known to dance perched on high heels was somewhat surprised by this discovery, it was obviously not the case of his students who reported to him having seen bedbugs, but also cockroaches, in their rooms.
