The developers of CoD 2022 are probably thinking about classic elements of the Call of Duty series. A leaker now reveals what to expect.
- CoD 2022 is said to be a sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019).
- The well-known leaker Tom Henderson talks about the upcoming shooter in his new video.
Call of Duty 2022 is already under discussion, although the predecessor Vanguard only appeared in November 2021. Allegedly, the upcoming title is a sequel to Modern Warfare (2019).
The leaker Tom Henderson is best known for leaks around shooters like Battlefield or Call of Duty. His latest YouTube video explores what fans of the CoD franchise could expect in the new year.
Among other things, Henderson predicts that CoD 2022 in multiplayer mode will contain revised maps from Modern Warfare 2. These “remasters” were already planned for Modern Warfare (2019), but did not make it into the final version of the shooter.
In addition to the old maps, there could also be a completely new mode in multiplayer. Henderson speaks of a mode such as “Hazard Zone” in Battlefield 2042. In this mode you have to complete missions, but first collect equipment.
What exactly the developers at Infinity Ward are building into the new CoD 2022 is not known at this point in time. The release date is also unknown.
But you can probably expect the game in autumn 2022. As soon as an official date is known, you will find it in our game release list.
