The Call of Duty Twitter account announced an upcoming competition in the coming weeks with a prize pool of $600,000.
A new tournament Call of Duty: Warzone was announced by the official Call of Duty Twitter account, the World Series of Warzone (WSOW). Produced in collaboration with Prime Gamingthe tournament is expected to feature several top teams from the competitive Warzone scene. Registrations are already available for those who want to try to compete in Activision’s battle royale.
For now, the calendar of events is already established. The World Series of Warzone In Game Open EU and the WSOW In Game Open North America will take place from August 12 to 15. the 20 Augustthem WSOW European Qualifiers will take place, and the next day, the WSOW North American Qualifiers.
Teams will consist of three members. Everyone will participate in the Open Qualifiers and the 40 best teams will be selected, in order to participate to closed regional qualifiers. The matches will take place on the site of Gamebattles. The platform specifies that the matches will take place on all current platforms: PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
