(CercleFinance.com) – Coface indicates that AM best confirmed on May 19 its financial soundness rating (IFS) ‘A’ (Excellent) assigned to the credit insurance group, as well as to CNAIC and Coface Ré , with a still ‘stable’ outlook.
The rating agency points out that these ratings “reflect the financial solidity of Coface, considered very strong by AM Best, as well as an adequate operational performance, a favorable economic model and appropriate risk management”.
While it acknowledges that the group’s future performance could be subject to volatility, AM Best believes that Coface has ‘the ability to quickly take adequate risk reduction measures in the event of a deterioration in performance’.
