QWhat a week! It all starts on Monday, with the publication by the NGO Oxfam of a report on inequality entitled “The law of the richest”. And this striking shortcut: if we taxed only 2% of the 42 French billionaires, we would get the 12 billion that are missing from the pension system. The former boss of the Greens, Cécile Duflot, now director of Oxfam for France, relays it in the media and on social networks.

It was immediately relayed by La France insoumise. Deputy Éric Coquerel, chairman of the Finance Committee at the National Assembly, takes up the equation of the 12 billion euros miraculously collected year after year. “It’s worth finding them to allow the French to benefit from their retirement,” he adds.
