(Boursier.com) — Coil lost 2% to 4.95 euros this Monday, while the world leader in aluminum anodizing announced for the 2023 financial year an annual turnover of 21.8 ME, down -17.5 % compared to 2022. Sales were impacted by a difficult environment, marked by the clear slowdown in demand for subcontracting services throughout the financial year and the decline in packaged activities since the second half compared to a high basis of comparison.

Coil maintains a cautious approach for the first half of fiscal 2024. The macroeconomic environment remains challenging and continued weak demand is expected to continue to weigh on the recovery in outsourcing services volumes in the near term.
However, the flexibility of its industrial tools will allow it to react quickly to an improvement in demand during the financial year. At the same time, the company is continuing its diversification strategy by supporting its geographic presence in mature and emerging markets through the development of its packaged offers… Portzamparc, however, adjusts its target price downward from 4 to 3.6 euros, while the momentum risks remaining complicated in the short term according to the analyst.
