(CercleFinance.com) – Colas has signed an 8-year motorway maintenance and intervention contract with National Highways for Area 9. The contract amount is around 400 million euros.
The Area 9 contract covers the main road network of several counties in central England (Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Staffordshire and Shropshire as well as, partially, Gloucestershire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire), representing a total length of approximately 3,760 km of motorways and national roads.
Colas will carry out regular maintenance operations, repairs, emergency interventions and in the event of difficult weather conditions, as well as miscellaneous work.
