Colas wins a major contract in the United Kingdom

(AOF) – Colas Ltd, a subsidiary of Colas in the United Kingdom, has been awarded by National Highways the motorway maintenance and intervention contract for Area 9 for a period of 8 years. Area 9 covers the main road network of several counties in central England (Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Staffordshire and Shropshire as well as, partially, Gloucestershire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire), representing a total length of approximately 3,760 km of highways and national roads. The contract amount is around 400 million euros.

Colas Ltd will carry out regular maintenance operations, repairs, emergency interventions and in the event of difficult weather conditions, as well as miscellaneous work. The contract will take effect on July 1, 2022.
