Colas: won an 80 ME contract in Finland


(CercleFinance.com) – Destia, the Finnish subsidiary of Colas, has won the contract for zone 3 of the urban rail line in Espoo, Finland’s second city, from the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. The total amount of this contract amounts to 80 million euros.

Destia is responsible for the construction of 4.5 kilometers of new double railway lines and three bridges, the rehabilitation of four others, the demolition of a structure as well as the renovation of two stations (Koivuhovi and Tuomarila) .

These tracks will allow commuter trains and long-distance trains to run separately, thereby improving the frequency, regularity and accessibility of rail services.
