The new Coldplay album “Moon Music” will be released on October 4, 2024, the first single “feelslikeimfallinginlove” already on Friday.

Around three years after the release of their album “Music Of The Spheres” in 2021, the British pop-rock band Coldplay, led by singer Chris Martin (47), has announced the release date of their new album. “Moon Music” will be released on October 4, 2024. A first taste of the work will be offered by a first single entitled “feelslikeimfallinginlove”, which has been announced for June 21.

Coldplay catalogue coming to an end in 2025?

As reported by Rolling Stone, among otherssinger Chris Martin announced in a BBC interview a few weeks ago that he would not record another album after 2025. There he said: “Maybe we will do some collaborations, but the Coldplay catalog will then have come to an end, so to speak.” The album “Moon Music” could thus mark the slow farewell to the band, which has existed since 1998.

In a few weeks, the band will be coming back to Germany as part of their “Music of the Spheres Tour” to play concerts in Düsseldorf and Munich at the end of July and mid-August. However, if you are only now deciding to see the band live again, you are unfortunately too late – all dates have long since been completely sold out.
