The 30-year-old woman climbed the Großglockner with friends. On the descent, however, disaster struck: in the Könditzkee area, she collapsed in the softened snow up to her waist.
She injured her knee in the process. Although she was in severe pain, the climber still wanted to continue the descent. At the Stüdlhütte, however, it was clear that we couldn’t go any further. The group then made an emergency call there. After the first aid by the rescue team, the 30-year-old was flown to the BKH Lienz with the emergency doctor helicopter.
