A motorcyclist never woke up after colliding with a car in Steyr and being taken to the intensive care unit at the Steyr hospital. The Garstener’s injuries had been too severe.
The serious traffic accident occurred on Thursday around 11.10 a.m. on Leopold-Werndl-Straße in the city of Steyr. A 54-year-old Hungarian from Garsten drove his motorcycle coming from Garsten. At the same time, a 68-year-old from the Amstetten district turned into the Leopold-Werndl-Straße in her car at the height of house number 25. For reasons unknown so far, there was a collision between the vehicles.
Hurled against a tree
The motorcyclist was thrown into a tree and remained unconscious. With serious injuries he was admitted to the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen Klinikum Steyr, where he succumbed to his injuries on Friday.
