The Stadt-Spielberg fire brigade and the Zeltweg Stadt volunteer fire brigade were alerted to a serious traffic accident during the night from Friday to Saturday.
A car collided with a truck on the S36 Murtal expressway for reasons unknown. When the two fire brigades arrived, the operations manager found a field of debris. The two vehicles involved in the accident were several meters away. After securing the scene of the accident and setting up the double fire protection, the deployed comrades began to remove the debris from the road. The car was just a heap of scrap – miraculously no one was injured in this collision. The vehicle was removed from the roadway by a private towing company. After an operation time of two hours, the two fire brigades were able to move back into the armory.
