In November, RTLzwei announced that it would be discontinuing its series “Köln 50667” after ten years. But that doesn’t mean the end.
Good news for all fans of ““Köln 50667”: The series will continue. In November, RTLzwei announced in a statement that it would discontinue “Köln 50667” after ten years. Now there will be more episodes. These will be available to stream on RTL+ from June.
Online start even before the end of the series
The last episode of the current season will be broadcast on television on June 13th. But it continues a week in advance on RTL+. The new episodes start there on June 7th. A new episode will be available exclusively on the streaming service every Monday and Friday.
A press release shows that the current main actors and actresses will continue to be there. In addition, former “Köln 50667” stars are supposed to celebrate a comeback.
The “Berlin – Day & Night” offshoot from Cologne has been running on RTLzwei on weekdays since January 7, 2013. Recently, the series was no longer able to build on its previous successes, and a relaunch at the beginning of last year did not bring the desired improvement.
