Not only the catwalks characterize the color trends 2023, the color institute Pantone also publishes its trend forecast for the coming year every year. We’ll tell you here which colors are particularly wearable and promising.

Pink, pink, pink are all my clothes – at least that was the case in 2022. It was already foreseeable that this would change in the coming year. In our big report on fashion trends 2023, we already presented the new trend color green. But that’s not the only tone that’s very popular: The year 2023 promises to be colourful.

Color trends 2023:

The color of the year 2023: Viva Magenta

At the end of each year, Pantone chooses the color of the year. The color “Viva Magenta” with the code 18-1750 was selected for the coming year. This message was published on the Instagram account on December 2nd. The color is described as: “Vibrant with verve and power, a hue rooted in nature and derived from the red family, demonstrating a new signal of strength.” Designers have also discovered this strength for themselves. Expressive looks in the warm-cold shade of pink can be found at Versace, Del Core and Pluto.

Trend color from the catwalk: green

Grass green promises a hype similar to that triggered by Valentino pink this year. Whether it’s Giambatista Valli, Valentino, Fendi or Elie Saab, the list of fashion labels that are going green in 2023 is long. And rightly so: the fresh shade is perfect for bold color blocking looks, also with pink and yellow tones. When combined together, different shades of green also result in a harmonious overall picture.

Not monotonous: beige is the trend in 2023

For a long time, beige was considered conservative and colorless. Labels like Miu Miu, Valentino or Hermès revive monotonous looks. However, it is important to combine modern designs with street style influences. The windbreaker can be worn in an oversized look or the costume can be given a new silhouette. Pro tip: Dark brown accessories enhance the light looks.
