Pantone has already revealed that the year will be entirely dominated by “Peach Fuzz”, but the catwalks also indicate what awaits us in 2024.

The runways from London to Paris have set the tone for what awaits us in the coming season. In addition to extravagant designs, some color trends have also emerged that are particularly popular this spring and summer. It seems like fresh and vibrant colors are dominating the fashion industry right now.

Color trends 2024: “Peach Fuzz” is Pantone’s color of the year

It is a velvety-soft peach shade that was chosen as the Pantone Color of the Year 2024. “Peach Fuzz” combines freshness and gentleness and combines pink Orange. The light tone unfolds in a playful and romantic way and will not only unfold in the interior sector or in the design world, but also in terms of fashion and beauty aspects.

The red color trend will continue in 2024

The color red is currently in pole position in stores, at major award ceremonies or on the catwalks and will not fade in 2024. Anyone who has already stocked up on the signal color last year can confidently continue to wear their favorite pieces. While Alexander McQueen uses a bright shade, Isabel Marant and Valentino use smokier, more matt tones. If you love a grand entrance, combine the color with exciting dresses: with a cut-out, floor length or with a neckline.

A trip from green

In spring and summer, just like the flowering season itself, vibrant green in pastel shades dominates. From bright lime to pale pistachio green: anything goes! You can now see the delicate colors shining on the catwalks of Erdem and Ulla Johnson. Preferably styled in the form of delicate, flowing and long dresses. Substances that bring the spring air very close to the body. For a more subtle look, just keep the trousers in soft green, like Loewe.

Soft pink looks particularly formal and in vogue

Pale pink, light pink, pearl pink. These are just three of the many shades of the pink spectrum that can be mentioned. The preppy color is more popular than ever and looks delicate and modern, especially on stricter, more classic looks. Whether as a costume, like at Elie Saab and Chanel, or as a dress with a special design like at Valentino: Conventional looks get a spring upgrade with the pastel nuance.

The yellow trend is a spring and summer favorite

Brimstone and buttercup yellow are reinterpreted in modern cuts on the runways of Fendi and Elie Saab. Formal dresses with a twist or crop top and flare skirt sets provide a great base for the bright colors. If the yellow all-over look is too bold for you, just choose a piece in the bright shade – or more reserved shoes and accessories. Erdem demonstrates how it works with muted mustard yellow.
