Goodbye to black – autumn is exciting and colorful when it comes to eyeliner too. This is how a woman becomes an eye-catcher.

Brown and black eyeliner? This year, colorful, unconventional eyeliners are the beauty trend. Colored tones emphasize the eyes without appearing excessive. Classic black liner will never go out of style, but it can also get boring. Colored eyeliner, on the other hand, is an easy way to spice up makeup with minimal effort. The wearing of masks has also contributed to the trend of colored liners this year – in 2021 everything will really revolve around the eyes and it will stay that way for a while.

The choice of eyeliner color

There are actually no rules when it comes to choosing a color. However, some eyeliners go better with a particular eye color than others. Colors like navy blue, green, silver, and gold suit most people, but certain tones add even more emphasis to the eyes. Colored eyeliner for brown eyes can include bright neon tones and bold primary colors. Actress Lily Collins (32) also used an eyeliner in lapis lazuli at the premiere of “Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile”. Shades of gold and peachy pinks are some of the best eyeliner colors for blue eyes. Eyeliner colors for green eyes are bronze, gold, purple, and rich reds and pinks.

Colored eyeliner pencils for a natural finish

Instead of starting directly with a liquid eyeliner in bright neon tones, it is better to use brightly colored, creamy pencils. While liquid liners harden quickly and are difficult to adjust, a natural finish is achieved with kohl pencils. The desired effect can thus be achieved gradually. With a small brush, the eyeliner can be gently smeared to create a soft look that is eye-catching without being too theatrical.

Use a maximum of two colors

One or two different colors look sophisticated. More than that, and it looks a bit like painting by numbers.

The right utensils

For absolute liner beginners, it is best to use a brush that is already angled, as it is much easier to use than pointed brushes. Experienced people use an eyeliner pencil or liquid eyeliner.

Adhesive tape for the perfect winged eyeliner

Aside from holding torn utensils in place, tape can also help draw perfect colored winged eyeliners. Two centimeters of tape are stuck to the outer edge of the eyes. With the eyeliner, simply trace the wing along the sloping edge and finally extend the line along the upper lash line. Fill in the gaps if necessary and peel off the adhesive tape.

This is how the subtle look works

If the look is to be more subtle, tones such as copper, amber and emerald blue are the right choice. You can play with these colors perfectly and just dab a small amount into the inner and outer corners of your eyes.
