Colorful festival – hundreds came to the Hallein carnival parade

Even carnival fans felt like dressing up, because anyone who came to the big parade in Hallein’s old town yesterday morning wearing a mask was rewarded with a free doughnut!

Around 1,000 visitors put in a lot of visual effort, especially the children. They particularly valued face painting. An extra children’s program made this year’s carnival parade a highlight for the little visitors. By the way, the free donuts were quickly handed out. Shortly after 3 p.m., just an hour after the parade officially began, all 1,000 pieces were sold out.
