Colton Underwood was once looking for his dream woman on “The Bachelor.” Now he is expecting his first baby with his husband.

Nice news from Colton Underwood, 32: The reality star will soon be a father for the first time. In an interview with “Men’s Health” and on Instagram he announced that he and his husband Jordan C. Brown, 39, are expecting their first offspring via surrogate mother. At the beginning of October they will become parents of a boy.

“That was one of the things that bonded us early on in our relationship. We both wanted to be fathers. But it’s been an incredible experience for us to go through this together and I can’t wait to see Jordan become a father,” The former bachelor also explained “People” magazine. The two found out about the pregnancy via text message from their surrogate mother. That was a “moment of relief”.

Close relationship with the surrogate mother

Underwood and Brown developed a “wonderful friendship” with their surrogate mother. “We’re very worried about her. We’ve been to every single doctor’s appointment. Her family came to our house for dinner. She’s an incredible human being,” the father-to-be gushed.

He and his husband are already preparing intensively for the time with the newborn. Underwood is looking forward to loving his son and showing him the world, watching Jordan hold him and feed him, pulling all-nighters and getting up early and doing all the things that come with being a father .”

Coming out after participating in “The Bachelor”

Colton Underwood initially looked for his dream woman on the US version of “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise”. In 2018 he finally became a rose distributor himself on “The Bachelor”. On the show he met Cassie Randolph, 29, with whom he was in a relationship until 2020. A year later, the former professional football player surprisingly came out as gay on the show “Good Morning America”.

In the same year, he began dating political advisor Jordan C. Brown. The couple became engaged in 2022 and tied the knot on May 13, 2023.
