After his failed controversial sketch on the Télématin set last week, France Télévisions decided to dismiss the young comedian from the show. She had mentioned the terrorist of the Nice attack, which killed 84 people, even calling him an “ideal man”, all on the first day of the opening of the trial.
A chronicle and then leaves. According to the daily Var-Matin, Télématin will no longer call on comedian Alexandra Pizzagalli. She was also not on the air this Monday morning, the fault of her failed sketch from last week. Last Monday, she tries to make viewers laugh about the Nice attacks, notably comparing the terrorist to her “ideal man”.
France Télévisions has apologized
If the sketch does not make anyone laugh on the set, it quickly provokes strong criticism on social networks. To the point that France Télévisions and the two presenters of Télématin, Julia Vignali and Thomas Sotto, are forced to apologize. In his defense, the comedian was not helped by technical problems: his teleprompter does not work and the ad is launched in the middle of his column.
The direction of @FranceTele and the teams of @Telematin regret that a column with a humorous vocation rightly offended many viewers.
We offer our apologies and express our solidarity with the victims of the Nice attack and their loved ones.– France Televisions (@Francetele) September 5, 2022
Moreover, after this first failed passage, Alexandra Pizzagalli had put this failure into perspective, writing on her social networks “can’t wait for the second, and unless a project falls on my face next week a priori, it can’t be than better.” A second performance that will never happen.
