Why does this hype us up?
If Netflix releases average films quite often, the platform does quite well with its science fiction productions. Based on the Atlas trailer, the special effects look slick enough for subscribers to have a good time watching. Let’s also add the fact that it is worn by Jennifer Lopez and that she has already proven herself on the platform. It’s the sure hit of the month of May.

Why does this hype us up?
Because Benedict Cumberbatch. The English actor chooses his projects carefully, most often preferring compositional roles (as in The Power of the Dog). In Eric, it’s the thriller aspect and fantastic twist that seem to have appealed to him. Because if the initial premise is the disappearance of a child, the series then takes a rather unexpected direction, to better show the pain of this father. These 6 episodes, by the producers of Chernobyl, will take us through all the emotions.

Netflix has not done any promotion around this series but it is one of those productions that does not need that to work. Ni Una Mas (Raising Voices) has all the ingredients to become a huge hit. We know that French subscribers are keen on Spanish series, especially when they feature lonely youth, like in Elite.
