Companies: pots at the office about to be reauthorized

Since January 25, the moments of conviviality in companies were “suspended”.

The national health protocol in companies will again be amended to reintroduce the possibility of organizing office pots “in strict compliance with barrier gestures“, According to the project sent to the social partners and consulted Monday by AFP.

The document, the final version of which is to be posted online on Wednesday after consultation with trade unions and employers’ organizations, provides that “moments of conviviality bringing together in particular face-to-face employees in a professional setting can be organized in strict compliance with barrier gestures, in particular the wearing of a mask, aeration/ventilation measures and the rules of distancing“.

The latest version of this protocol (dated January 25), a reference document to ensure the health and safety of employees and the pursuit of economic activity in the face of Covid-19, indicated that the moments of conviviality were “hanging“. The document is also slightly relaxed with regard to meetings. It indicates that “meetings by audio or videoconference remain to be preferredand provides that “when they are held face-to-face», they must respect barrier gestures.

He also says, in accordance with an opinion from the High Council for Public Health, that wearing the FFP2 mask “may be indicated for people at risk of severe forms of Covid-19 and who have failed vaccination for medical reasons, as long as they are able to withstand it for several hours and for daily use“. With regard to telework, the protocol recalls that since February 2, the use of this mode of organization is “recommended” and “employers set, within the framework of local social dialogue, the terms and conditions for the use of telework“.
