After two episodes highly appreciated by fans of real-time strategy games, franchise Company of Heroes will be back with a third opus taking us to the Mediterraneanstill during the Second World War. And the title promises to be realistic.
This week, developers at Relic Entertainment have share short videos of gameplayhighlighting the building destruction system in Company of Heroes 3. As you can see from the excerpt above, the studio wanted a realistic rendering, opting for pieces of geometric debris retaining the same textures as the intact building, with very believable physics as well. And when the building has taken a lot of shell damage, it can even collapse, as shown in other videos on the next page.
