Complaint at maternity hospital: "They're screaming too loud"

During childbirth, a woman experiences excruciating pain. No wonder that it also makes noises. Too much, thinks a hospital neighbor.

Have you ever thought about what the neighbors of hospitals can see? No? We honestly don't either! After all, hospital grounds are often extensive and neighbors are rarely found in the immediate vicinity.

Not so in the Swiss community of Männedorf near Zurich. Here a man apparently lives so close to a hospital that he hears the women giving birth – and feels disturbed by them. The reported the "Zürichsee-Zeitung". "They scream too loud," was his allegation, with which he repeatedly complained to the clinic.

And what does the hospital say?

The now takes the complaint seriously and reacts. Apparently the hospital has the delivery room windows open more often in the summer so that the women who are in labor can cool down. Those responsible have now promised to keep the windows closed in future so as not to bother the angry neighbors any further.

In order to make the birth easier for the women, air conditioning should be installed. Well, one can only hope that the heated minds will cool down with it …
