One Piece RED premiere goes downhill because of the fans
After Jujutsu Kaisen 0, it’s One Piece RED’s turn. This Sunday, August 7, several cinemas organized preview sessions for the new manga feature film. Aficionados of the phenomenon series were particularly eager to discover this film featuring Uta, Shanks’ daughter. Lately, this type of event has aroused unprecedented enthusiasm, which is still reaching new heights.
This time, the spectators were more subdued at the Grand Rex, contenting themselves with shouting. In Marseille, on the other hand, it’s a different story. The frenzied fans ruined the One Piece RED showing by putting on a show, shirtless whistling or throwing popcorn. Some even took to the stage during one of the film’s most epic sequences. In Bordeaux, spectators literally set off the fire alarm during the screening only because they did not like the film. The cinema was then forced to cut the power to restart everything, forcing them to reimburse all spectators for all sessions, not just that of OP RED.
