Taking advantage of the Xbox Games Showcase, the Montreal studio Compulsion Games unveils its next game, South of Midnight. The action-adventure title takes place in the Great American South for a third-person game. The trailer takes us elsewhere in the Bayou, to meet a terrifying creature and a blues musician who seems undead.
Players will be able to embody Hazel, a weaver. That is to say here, a magical repairer of broken bonds and spirits. With her brand new powers, the young woman will explore the myths and legends of southern folklore, all in a world full of fantasy and macabre.
His role will then be to confront and subjugate terrifying creatures, each more dangerous than the next. And in this monster hunt, Hazel will also unravel the stories of her own family’s past. Enough perhaps, to have the feeling of feeling at home somewhere.
If for the moment no release date has been announced, we do know that South of Midnight will be available on PC as well as on Xbox. Not to mention that it will most likely be available as soon as it launches on the Xbox Game Pass.
