Computex 2023 – MSI launches into the pro PC with a focus on security

MSI is certainly known for its computers and components intended for gamers, but the Taiwanese manufacturer also offers a slew of PCs for creators and workers, such as the excellent Summit that we tested. In addition to its Stealth 16 – a thin gaming model produced in partnership with AMG Motorsport – announced with great fanfare at Computex in Taipei, MSI presents a PC clearly intended for pros and businesses, the Commercial 14H.

Offered in different configurations with a 13th generation Intel Core i7 and a Full HD + screen in 16:10 format, it should be able to tackle office automation without too much problem. Its paintless chassis gives it a raw side reminiscent of the Acer Vero. It also incorporates a few security features that are absent from conventional models: a card reader smart cardslittle used in France, which allow you to identify yourself with certain services, which can be used in certain companies or to secure banking transactions for example.

Another interesting element, an NFC chip reader is integrated on the left, to unlock your PC much more securely than with a password or the fingerprint reader. Just approach your phone with a dedicated application for the screen to unlock in the blink of an eye.

The price of the Commercial 14H is not yet known, but it will largely depend on the configuration offered.
