Did Prince Harry first hear about it from the press?
Once again there is great turmoil in the royal family – but for a change Prince Harry.

Princess Kate and King Charles’ almost simultaneous operations are worrying royal fans. When did Prince Harry find out about this?
Fans and sympathizers of the British royal family currently have to worry in two ways. King Charles III (75) has to undergo a prostate operation next week, while Princess Kate (42) is already in the hospital due to an unspecified operation on her stomach. British media, including “The Telegraph”are now reporting that Prince Harry (39) may have first found out about it from the news.
Prince Harry is said to have been personally informed by Buckingham Palace about his father’s upcoming operation. However, it is likely that he had already heard about it through the news. The big time difference between Great Britain and the USA, where Harry lives with his wife Meghan (42) and their children, could have been a decisive factor for this.
On Wednesday afternoon (January 17th), the royal family first announced Princess Kate’s hospitalization and a little later revealed the upcoming procedure for King Charles. At this point, however, it was still early morning in the state of California.
“Private Approach”?
So far, Prince Harry has not yet commented publicly on any of the two medical procedures within his family. It is assumed that this will remain the case. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams (74) said about “The Sun”that a “quiet or private rapprochement” is the most likely and best course of action, provided Prince Harry does not want to widen the supposed rift with his family.
Harry was actually scheduled to be honored as a “Living Legend of Aviation” at an awards ceremony this Friday (January 19) due to his military career. The event takes place in Beverly Hills, with John Travolta (69), himself a passionate pilot, serving as host. However, it is not certain whether Harry will attend the awards ceremony.
